DELIVERY DRIVER

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.

EXPERIENCE

3+ year experience of delivery driving, computer skills for pre-trip planning, basic knowledge of the Southern California Freeway system and a Class C California Driver’s License. You will be driving a 24’, 12 pallet box-truck.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for loading and offloading of all customer deliveries.
  • Responsible for various duties in the Warehouse and Shipping departments when not on deliveries.
  • Familiarize with backroad routes in case of bad primary route road conditions.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly relationship with the customer at drop off points and pickups.
  • Run a pre-check inspection of your Delivery Truck prior to leaving for deliveries.
  • Strive to be safe on the road, maintain a legal safety distance between vehicles.
  • Follow all safety guidelines established by the Company.
  • Special assignments as required.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE MACHINIST

JOB DESCRIPTION

The General Maintenance Machinist must be capable and experienced in all aspects of conventional machining; including turning, milling, grinding and assembly.

EXPERIENCE

1-3+ years of experience as a General Maintenance Machinist. Injection Molding background a plus. Ability to understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing of drawings, prints and files. Understanding of shop math and trigonometry in order to set-up machinery and check accuracy of work performed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and troubleshoot tooling issues with regards to jigs, fixtures and assembly.
  • Repair, replace and maintain all jigs and fixtures utilized in the daily operation of the manufacturing facility.
  • Assist in the design and fabrication of all equipment utilized in the jigs, fixtures and assembly process.
  • Support manufacturing with automatic assembly machinery.
  • Assist in the fabrication and repair of tooling through the operation of tool room equipment including, but not limited to, ID/OD grinders, engine lathes, surface grinders with spin fixtures, mills and band saws.
  • Responsible for operating tool room equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders and hand tools.
  • Responsible for operating measuring tools (calipers, micrometer, indicators, etc.)
  • Regular communication with other department personnel as necessary in order to ensure minimal machinery downtime.
  • Participate in continual process improvements and developments within the Maintenance department and support same within other departments in the facility.
  • Miscellaneous duties as required within the Maintenance department.
  • Follow all safety guidelines established by the Company including proper use of equipment and procedures.
  • Special assignments as required.
