Please be advised that new regulations under California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, commonly known as “Prop 65”, became operative on August 30th, 2018.
Magic Plastics products are available in various sizes, quantities and package configurations, making it impractical to label each individual part with the Prop 65 Warning. Due to this, sales of Magic Plastics products to California customers will need to provide a point-of-sale warning for those products that require Prop 65 labeling. These point-of-sale warnings are necessary for our PVC, CPVC Valves and Fittings as well as PVC and CPVC Valves and Fittings that contain one or more O-Rings.
The various warning labels are below. For Magic Plastics distributors, these will need to be printed and placed where they will be visible to your customers / ultimate retailers in your and their California locations. The signs should be no smaller than 5” x 5” and printed in no smaller than 20 – point type. Magic Plastics distributors that offer Magic Plastics products sold on the web are not exempt from this regulation and should comply accordingly.
